In conjunction with Maine Innkeepers Association, the Hawthorn Inn is participating in the 12th Annual Hospitality for Habitat program, April 20 and May 21, 2015. The program raises funds for ten local chapters of Habitat for Humanity in Maine, while encouraging travel in Maine in the spring season.
Select rooms are offered at half the regular rate. Reservations must be made in advance. The package includes a minimum of a two-night stay, full distinctive breakfast each morning, and afternoon refreshments. Tax and gratuity are not included. Reservations must be made directly through the Hawthorn Inn (on-line or by phone). We cannot apply the rate to or combine it with other specials or third party booking sites. This rate is available in exchange for a $35 check made payable to Habitat for Humanity and presented on arrival. The package applies to the the Watney (half-price) and the Norfolk (half-price).
These funds will be distributed among the ten local chapters of Habitat for Humanity. Habitat for Humanity International is a Christian ministry dedicated to eliminating poverty housing. Founded in 1975 by Millard Fuller, along with his wife Linda, Habitat for Humanity International and its affiliates in more than 3,000 communities in 92 nations have built more than 800,000 homes for partner families around the world.
