The nine day Camden Winterfest from January 31 thru February 8 provides many opportunities to get outside and have fun.  There is an ice carving competition, Maine's only nationally-sanctioned snow scultping competition, and CamJam Harborside Freestyle Skiing and Snowboarding in Harbor Park the first weekend.  All only steps away from the Hawthorn Inn backgate. There are concerts, movies and other family activities all week. The 25th Annual US National Toboggan Championship takes place at the Camden Snow Bowl on February 6, 7 and 8.
