From New York Area-Take Merritt Parkway to 91N to 84E to Mass Pike to 290/Worcester to 495N/Lowell to 95N (495 turns into 95 at that point). Continue on as shown below.
From Boston/Portland—Take 95N to Exit 52 just outside Portland where 95
splits from 495 and becomes 295. Continue to Exit 31, Topsham. At bottom of
ramp, take right onto 196S and continue till merge onto 1N toward Bath. Continue
on 1N to just past Waldoboro. Turn left on 90E, an end-to-end bypass about 10
miles long. At end of 90E, turn left and rejoin Rte 1N into Camden. Drive
through town on Rte 1 past the Public Library. Fourth house on the right is
Number 9 High Street.
From Bangor International Airport--Take I 95 South from Airport to Route 395/15 to Coastal Route 1A (Hampden exit). Follow 1A for about 24 miles. At Searsport, pick up Route 1 south. Continue on Route 1 south through Searsport, Belfast, Lincolnville, Northport and then into Camden.
The Hawthorn Inn is Number 9 High Street, the first mansion on the left just
after you come down the hill past many of the historic homes and cross a stone
bridge. If you reach the Public Library you have gone too far.
